Homegrown fashion retailer Cantabil Retail India Ltd is targeting ₹1,000 crore in revenue by FY27, banking on aggressive expansion into Tier II and Tier III cities and leveraging its in-house manufacturing capabilities to fuel growth. Currently operating over 600 stores across the country, Cantabil plans to add 70 to 80 outlets annually, with a strategic push toward underserved markets where demand for affordable branded apparel is rising.

“Our manufacturing capabilities are not just a backbone, they are a growth engine,” said Shivender Nigam, CFO of Cantabil. “End-to-end control from design to distribution enables us to stay agile, manage margins efficiently, and deliver consistent quality—especially important as we scale toward our ₹1,000 crore goal.”

In addition to brick-and-mortar expansion, Cantabil is ramping up its digital operations. It is refining its product mix to appeal to younger consumers and boosting its e-commerce capabilities to meet evolving shopper preferences. The brand’s offerings span men’s, women’s, and kidswear, with a growing focus on accessories to increase average transaction values.

Cantabil’s holistic approach—blending manufacturing, design, and retail under one roof—is helping it compete effectively in India’s dynamic fashion market. With demand in smaller cities rising and consumer preferences shifting, the company is positioning itself as a value-driven brand with nationwide reach.
